LOFT BOARDING.
This project followed an emergency call-out after a ceiling collapse caused by items being stored on insulation in an unboarded loft. We installed a proper loft boarding system above the insulation to create a safe, load-bearing storage area while maintaining thermal performance and preventing further damage.
New studs were fitted from inside the loft space to create fixing points for the new plasterboard before repair works began.
